Kreuzberg: 1. The hill in the middle of Berlin's Victoria Park. An artificial waterfall plunges from this natural elevation. The peak is crowned with a monument designed by F.K. Schinkel which offers a nice view over the city. 2. Also the name of the surrounding district, a central area which is famous for its multicultural vivacity and exciting night life.

The Pension Kreuzberg is located nearby the Victoria Park, right in the Kreuzberg 'Kiez' with its typical back courtyards, decorative façades, street cafés, its unique range of small shops, restaurants, theatres and galleries.

Lying next to the wall and therefore having existed rather as a kind of fringe area of West Berlin until 1989 the Kreuzberg district now once again forms part of the center of Berlin.

All the important spots in the city are easy to reach from here. Public Transportation takes you in the shortest amount of time to the places like the Friedrichstraße or the Europe Cantor and the Gedachtinskirche at the Kudamm, for example. Close to our pension you can catch 4 subway lines and 6 bus lines.

Don't miss the opportunity to explore the neighborhood by foot or bicycle. Some of the most interesting historical sights are just a short walk away- it takes on 20 minutes to get to the Potsdamer Platz, the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag.

Even just to go for a stroll in the Kreuzberg Kiez can already be a fascinating experience.

The Pension Kreuzberg offers you 12 spacious rooms with simple comfort in a homely atmosphere as well as a daily breakfast buffet. Our pension is a typical Old-Berlin tenement from the turn of the century - which gives you an impression of the way of living in Berlin a hundred years ago.

Children are welcome in our pension. We will be glad to help you out with information and advice during your stay.
