TWO ELITE ISLAND RESORTS WIN MAJOR RECOGNITION IN THE CARIBBEAN TRAVEL & LIFE
Best of 2003 issue

PRESS RELEASE

May 22, 2003 Deerfield Beach: Two Elite Island Resorts received major recognition in the recent Caribbean Travel & Life Readers Awards. Galley Bay in Antigua and Palm Island in the Grenadines are both featured amongst the Caribbean’s top three “small all-inclusives”, whilst Palm Island was also named as one of the region’s “most romantic small hotels.”

“These awards are really a wonderful endorsement of our product,” says Elite Island Resorts Chairman, Rob Barrett. “Whilst we’re obviously very aware of the exceptional demand for both properties, not to mention their high repeat-guest quota, it’s very heartening to be acknowledged in this high-profile way. And rest assured that we’ll be doing all we can to maintain this high ranking.”

Galley Bay, an Elite Island Resort since 1997, is a 69-room hideaway on a spectacular three-quarter mile beach in Antigua. Its guests enjoy fine dining and personal service in an ambience of unspoiled elegance. Recent refinements include upgraded spa facilities and a new over-water entranceway that not only ensures an even quieter resort, but also introduces guests to the island’s indigenous bird life.
